Mike Hart

Mike came from an environment shaped by instability and addiction. He began using substances at a young age and spent years battling the consequences—legal issues, emotional turmoil, and the belief that he might never escape the cycle.  Mike’s turning point came when a jail sentence led him to treatment, where he was introduced to the tools of recovery. He experienced a profound inner shift and committed himself fully to a new path. Today, he is a living example that healing is always possible—even after years of struggle.

Elyse Hart

Elyse Hart, Mike’s wife and Director of Operations, brings her own powerful story to the mission. Like Mike, Elyse also struggled with addiction. Her battle with drugs and alcohol led her down a dark and difficult path, but recovery gave her a second chance—and she took it with both hands. Elyse and Mike met in recovery, grew through the process together, and now stand side by side—both in marriage and in their work.
